Event: Cross country

Role: The principal leader of the club, with overall responsibility for the club’s administration, setting and facilitating the goals for the academic year. 


Vice President

Charles Nortey | Law, 2nd year

Event: 200m

Role: Works with the president to oversee the club and is responsible for welfare, so this is who to talk to you if you have any concerns.

Treasurer

Jean Sammut | Economics, 3rd year

Event: Cross country

Role: Produces and manages the club's accounts and finances and oversees all income and expenditure for the club. 

Secretary

Cameron White | Engineering, 2nd year

Event: Long distance

Role: Provides a central point of contact for administration, information and communication, and importantly provides administrative support to the President.

Men's Athletics Captain

Femi Segun | Chemistry, 2nd year

Event: Pole vault

Role: Ensuring that the Men's team is in the finest condition for Varsity and BUCS, and our own track competitions, as well as representing athletics members on the committee.

Women's Athletics Captain 

Deborah Iremide Fagbemi| Economics & GSD, 2nd year

Event: 100m, 200m

Role: Ensuring that the Women's team is in their best condition for Varsity, BUCS and other events in the Midlands, as well as representing athletics members on the committee.

Men's XC Captain

Adam Hudson | MORSE, 2nd year

Event: 1500m, Cross country

Role: Delivering training sessions throughout the year along with the women's captain. Leading the XC team through the busy racing season including league races and BUCS.

Katie Mooney | Psychology with Education, 2nd year

Event: Cross country

Role: Delivering training sessions throughout the year along with the men's captain. Leading the XC team through the busy racing season including league races and BUCS. 

Social Running Captain

Inés Corral | PPE, 2nd year

Event: Social running

Role: Leads the social runs around campus and also provides motivation and direction for those wishing to improve their running.  Emphasis on the relaxed and social ride of running.

Role: Organising the wide variety of events and tours that WUAXC offer: Warwick Relays, the Athletics Ball, and our domestic and foreign tours.

Communications & Marketing

Lucy Treleaven | Mathematics, 3rd year

Event: Cross country, long distance

Role: Responsible for creating communications content including for the fresher's fair, managing social media and keeping up communication with the club's members.

Role: Organising and leading all social activities throughout the term; be that Wednesday circles, PubJog, brunch or other fun activities.

Technology

Tom Miller | Mathematics & Physics, 3rd year

Event: 400m

Role: Developing the WUAXC website working with the Communications role, general IT support and ensuring the technical side of the club runs smoothly.
